Pacific Insight made its first entry into the marine electronics industry in 1994 when it designed the Quicksilver Keyless Ignition System with Mercury Marine of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin.  The system is designed to replace the standard key switch in pleasure boats with a small, stylish keypad.  After two years of development, the product went into production in February of 1996.  Boaters have enjoyed their safety and convenience ever since!
