PACIFIC INSIGHT ELECTRONICS CORP. ANNOUNCES NEW MULTI YEAR INSTRUMENTATION CONTRACT WITH AUTOCAR LLC.

Pacific Insight Electronics Corp. (“Pacific Insight”) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a multi-year contract from Autocar LLC (“Autocar”) of Hagerstown, Indiana.

Pacific Insight will provide Instrumentation and Control Modules for Autocar’s low cab forward engine (LCF) Class 8 trucks. Projected revenues for the multi-year contract should exceed $4 million Canadian.

The contract is part of Autocar’s initiative to refresh the instrumentation and controls on their Xpeditor line of Class 8 LCF trucks. Pacific Insight presented a system that provided Autocar the flexibility and styling that satisfied their customer’s demand.

Pacific Insight’s President Brad Smithson comments “this opportunity with Autocar is another example of Pacific Insight’s ability to design and deliver a ‘best in class’ multiplexed instrumentation system for the Heavy Truck Industry.”

Autocar LLC of Hagerstown, Indiana, is a manufacturer and marketer of LCF Class 8 trucks. The company’s products are sold into an array of heavy vocational truck markets, primarily in refuse and waste disposal.
