In addition to offering our own proprietary products, Pacific Insight offers full design services for its customers.  Pacific Insight is not a traditional "contract manufacturer", producing all types of products for all types of markets.  Our OEM Module Division provides our customers with in-house services from concept through to production for high volume transportation based electronic products.

As a QS9000 registered company, Pacific Insight has written procedures for defining and delivering what our customers need and want.  All design activities and related time milestones are logged using a design quality plan that follows formal Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) disciplines.

In the past 15 years, Pacific Insight has gained considerable experience in all types of transportation electronic control.  Insight's engineers have been involved with the design of hundreds of modules, dozens of new vehicles, and several total vehicle electrical system designs.

Insight's OEM engineering group is experienced and competent in specification development, hardware and software design, prototype development, product validation, as well as PCB and mechanical design.  Our designers are familiar with most popular micro-controller architectures and programming languages, and many of the standard SAE multiplexing protocols.

Insight's engineers are well versed in the design of injection molded, extruded or stamped metal and injection molded plastic components.  Insight's mechanical designers use the latest in 3D drafting, modeling, and simulation software in the development of our components.
